Upcoming Classes
2019 will feature BERNINA Creative Studio - a series of classes designed to inspire and build your sewing skills. Each month, we will offer an Embroidery Project, a Sewing Project, and a Software Inspirations class. In addition, there will be a free-motion quilt class, a technique class, and Design Works class, and an Overlocker (serger) class each quarter. Several options are available for morning or evening class times. January includes:
Embroidery, January 3: In the Hoop Plus - Learn how you can add an embroidery design to an existing in-the-hoop project, thanks to BERNINA’s Plus embroidery features. Use un-grouping and embroidery sequence control to quickly insert a design at the right point in your embroidery. Easy, simple and fast!
Project, January 8: Composition Notebook Cover - Keep your notes and thoughts organized in a personalized notebook cover! This quick project includes pockets and a pen holder for writing and storage on the go. It utilizes simple patchwork and finishing skills.
Software Inspirations, January 12: Words in Shapes - Begin the year learning more about CorelDRAW SE. Conform lettering to outline shapes to form a collage of words that can be embroidered or painted with DesignWorks.
Technique, January 15 (FREE): Foot Feature - Ruffler Foot #86 Learn how to effectively use the BERNINA Ruffler Foot #86 to create the most beautiful pleats or ruffles for any project. This is a technique class that focuses on three settings on the foot, which will fine tune the ruffles to your preferences, easy and fast!
