Skill Details:
Requirements: Pre-requisite of attending the Lutterloh pattern-making workshop on September 23. You will have purchased the ruler set at the workshop and will be able to draw your own pattern. Bring the pattern and your fabric to the first class, along with pins, measuring tape, and fabric scissors. We will cut the pattern out during first class. The second class will require a sewing machine, and our BERNINA 325 classroom machines will be available to use.
Instructor Bio: Meet your Instructor: I’ve been creating and sewing for more than 50 years, and I still love the excitement of taking an idea from a pattern and turning it into something you can actually wear and enjoy. Along the way, I’ve worked in garment construction, alterations, interior design, Heirloom techniques, and many other creative fields, and I’ve had the privilege of teaching people of all ages. I believe sewing is part skill, part problem-solving, and part creativity. In this class, I’m looking forward to helping you take your Lutterloh pattern and turn it into a finished vest—while gaining practical construction skills and, hopefully, having a little fun along the way!
