America the Beautiful in Machine Embroidery a CLL Class

This class is offered in partnership with the Center for Lifelong Learning (CLL). Classes are on an 8-week schedule beginning September 9. Registration for CLL classes opens August 12 at Lifelong Learning in Fort Walton Beach | CLL FWB Center for Lifelong Learning
This class goes beyond basics to create a finished project with machine embroidery. We will be making a pillow titled ‘America the Beautiful’ with our BERNINA 5 Series embroidery machines. With this project, we will explore techniques of in-the-hoop piecing, appliqué, and quilting, then finishing the project with or classroom sewing machines. Supply fee covers everything except the stuffing!
Class fee required to cover supplies ($60) payable at first class. Students should bring: Small scissors (ITH embroidery scissors recommended), seam ripper, fabric marking pens, 2 dz Wonder Clips, crafters project box (suggested 14”x14”x2”).
