Tool Tote is about 15in longx10in wide x7in tall Tool Tote is what everyone needs! The bag everyone WANTS! Pockets all the way around on the outside, pockets all the way around on the inside! Heavy duty formed metal stays that keep the bags mouth wide open, easy to get in and reach all your important tools. Tools are not the only things it's good for--there are many other uses for this versatile tote.
- I used 3 fabrics for my first Tool Tote. This made the outside pockets stand out.
*Directional fabric is NOT recommended!
- Have ALL fabric and interfacing cut out and labeled using the labels from page 3 of your pattern prior to class!
*I suggest DecorBond instead of foam for the outer bag front and back pockets interfacing.
- Using a tape measure decide how long you want your handles before cutting!! 2? on each side will be under a pocket. Do you want the shoulder straps for handles or doctor bag handles? I cut mine 30? long instead of Penny?s directions of 21? long.
- Suggestions for handles:
1.5? web belting or
3? KraftTex or
*You will not need interfacing for handles if you use any of the above.
- If using fabric for your handles iron on your interfacing and press/clip from step 9 of instructions prior to class.
