Our summer sewing days are designed to encourage and inspire youth in crafting and crating with a sewing machine.  Each class will develop sewing skills and knowledge of the sewing machine.  The series will be on Fridays and total six classes with individual registration.  Prices of the classes will vary due to the materials supplied.  A pizza lunch is included.  Seating is limited due to staff and space limitations.

Stuff to Bring:

Bent Shears (7” or 8”) for cutting fabric

Small trimming scissors (4”) or thread snips

Sewist’s Tape Measure (60 inches)

Seam Gauge (This is a 6” ruler with a slide on it)

Quilter’s pins (1¾” long with round plastic or glass heads)

Small pin cushion

Seam ripper

Chalk pencils (white and blue)

Large safety pin

Hand sewing needles

Needle threader (optional)

Craft box to keep notions together or plastic zip-lock bag (1 gallon size) - with your name on it!
