Sew Days - Learn to Sew

Sew Days 2019:  Six one-day classes.

Each week will feature a different project that will advance your sewing knowledge and skill.  Classes are independent and you do not need to register for the first class to take the following class.

Projects by date are:
August 10 - A mitered placemat
August 24 - Half & Half Apron
September 7 - A travel-sized pillowcase
September 21 - Catch-All
October 5 - Sling Backpack
October 19 - Tote Bag

Skill Level: beginner
Skill Details: These classes are designed to build the sewing skills of beginner sewists. Recommended for ages 21 and up.
Requirements: Each class in this program is an independent lesson. Choose the classes according to your own schedule. You do NOT have to attend week 1 to participate in the following weeks. Bring your sewing machine in good working order, your owners manual, and accessories. If you do not have a sewing machine available to use, please contact Stitcher's Quest. Basic sewing supplies include small scissors for cutting thread, a seam ripper, pins, extra machine needles and hand sewing needles. The class kit includes fabric and construction items needed for the project. Fabric selected for the kit will be at Stitcher's Quest choice. Kit option must be made at least 3 days in advance so we will be able to prepare kits. If you do not elect a kit, please choose your fabrics and purchase any additional construction items needed for project prior to start of class.
